Shane was {almost} born and raised in Grande Prairie, moving to the city at just 9 months old. His growing up years were spent playing every sport he could including minor league hockey in Sexsmith, school and club volleyball, golf, and even rugby! He graduated from Peace Wapiti Academy before getting his Real Estate License in 2009. After the housing downturn he decided to step away from real estate and go back to school.

He spent two years of college in Missouri on a golf scholarship before transferring to a university in Colorado. In Colorado he was on the golf team and the rec league hockey team before graduating with his business administration degree with a focus on marketing. Post graduation (and during summer break) Shane worked at his dad's building company. He credits a lot of his current real estate knowledge to his time working for his dad's grande prairie building company as he learnt so much about the building process and construction industry.

Shane worked as a Licensed Assistant for Helen for two years before deciding to get back into it full time!

Outside of work you'll find Shane either playing sports (rec league hockey, golf, indoor golf league), woodworking, or spending time with his wife and dog Perry.
